Alan Puglia is the Senior Rare Book Conservator at the Weissman Preservation Center at Harvard University. Alan is responsible for managing and coordinating the conservation of special collections, primarily bound materials, throughout Harvard libraries. A graduate of the University of Texas conservation program, Alan has over 20 years of experience in rare book, library, and archival conservation. Before joining Harvard University Alan worked at the National Archives and Records Administration and pursued additional conservation experience from the Library of Congress and the Harry Ransom Center of the University of Texas. Alan is a Professional Associate of AIC.
