Teresa Duncan received her B.S. in chemistry, with a second major in Art History, from the University of Mary Washington in 2008. She is currently a chemistry PhD candidate under the co-mentorship of Professor Richard G. Weiss at Georgetown University and Dr. Barbara Berrie at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Her research interests include the fundamental study and application of polymeric gels for cleaning cultural heritage. She is a 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Metropolitan Washington Chapter (MWC) ARCS scholar.
