Viviana Dominguez is a specialist in conservation of large-scale works of art on public places wall paintings and easel paintings. She has worked in the field since 1983, preserving national monuments internationally. She has broad experienced on a large variety of materials and paint finish as she has worked with colleagues in the field of monumental sculpture and architectural conservation including lime-based paint. Ms. Dominguez has conducted surveys and assessments of collections for museums and art institutions. She is currently contract by the Smithsonian Institute as their paintings conservator specialist for the the Haitian Cultural Recovery Project.
