Jennifer Pye has been part of the curatorial staff of the Monhegan Museum of Art and History on Monhegan Island, Maine since 2002. With a focus on collections organization and management, Jennifer tries to balance the preservation needs of the museum’s collections against the expense of one of the highest electrical rates in the United States. She was project director for the 2013 NEH Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections grant “Planning for a Sustainable Conservation Environment”, and is currently managing the follow-up project “Creating a Sustainable Preservation Environment” also funded by an NEH SCHC grant.
