Dr. Robert Waller, Adjunct Assistant Professor in Conservation Science at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada & President and Senior Risk Analyst, Protect Heritage, an organization that helps institutions to better preserve their cultural property. Organizations served include museums, libraries and archives, as well as related professional organizations and individuals with substantial collections. His career includes 33 years with the Canadian Museum of Nature as Chief of Conservation and as Managing Director of the Collection Services Division. He has taught, lectured, and served as a consultant at museums and universities throughout North America, Asia, Europe and elsewhere. He is the recipient of The Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections Lifetime Achievement Award and The Sheldon and Caroline Keck award for education of conservation professionals from the American Institute for Conservation. Dr. Waller is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Conservation Science at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He received his doctorate in Conservation from the University of Gothenburg and his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Geology from University of Manitoba.
