Susan D. Costello received a BA in chemistry from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in 1996 and her MS in art conservation with a specialty in objects conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in 2004. After graduation, she completed the advanced level objects internship at the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, Harvard Art Museums. She then joined the Worcester Art Museum first as the Samuel H. Kress fellow and subsequently as the Andrew W. Mellon fellow in objects conservation. Currently she is a Project Conservator in the objects lab at the Straus Center.
